Can’t believe this week is already Thanksgiving! Hope that wherever you are, you are in the presence of love and family (whatever that may mean to you!). Warm thoughts and good vibes and big hugs to you all. (:
Here’s a little about what I’ve been up to this month:
This month has really flown by. It’s been a blur of job hunting, stressing over phone interviews, and lots of thrift store madness (projects galore). I’ve been kind of slacking on these “Currently I’m…” posts, but here’s what I’ve been up to so far in September:
Here’s to welcoming a Fall season full of changing leaves, learning French, and saving up my to buy my first DSLR camera. Also, fingers crossed I can land a “dream job” this season–I’ll keep you all posted on that. (: Thanks for your continued support and good vibes!
Holy cow, you guys. Is it just me or does it feel like we just celebrated New Years? Things are really rolling around here, I’m getting ready to finish my last 4 weeks of my clinical rotation here in NC (and finish school, forever!) and make the drive back to CO for the summer, and I can’t believe how fast the time has flown by. Today I ordered the study book for my OT boards exam that I’ll be studying for all summer, and things are really starting to sink in. I’m so looking forward to summer’s arrival (it is my favorite season, after all) and spending some quality time at home. Side note, any good tips for things to do/places to eat in Nashville? I’ll be driving through next month and I’d love a chance to check out the city.
Here’s what I’ve been up to this month so far…
March is already 1/2 way over, and spring is definitely on it’s way. I’m loving the lighter nights (although I’m super grumpy in the mornings now, it’s so dark!) and the warmer temps. My internship here in Florida is almost over, and I’ll be moving to NC for my next clinical in a couple of weeks, and I’m looking forward to the change. It’s always refreshing to get a clean start.
Here’s what I’ve been up to this month:
It’s been a busy month! I can’t believe it’s already almost March. It’s most definitely time for a “Currently I’m…” post. Here’s what my life has been like this February.
That’s a quick update about what I’ve been up to this month. I’m looking forward to warmer weather in Spring and my move to North Carolina at the end of March. I’ll also get to see my parents next month! It’s going to be a good month, I can tell.
The past 2 weeks have gone by in a blur. I moved from Colorado to Florida, started my first full-time clinical rotation in Occupational Therapy, and spent this last week soaking up as much knowledge as I could from my wonderful supervisor.
Things are a little overwhelming for me still, but I’m hoping that with each day I gain confidence in myself and in my knowledge. I’ll share more about my experiences in Fieldwork (clinicals) in a later post.
Here’s a little bit about what I’ve been up to in January so far:
What have you been up to in January? Tweet me @kellytraut. I’d love to hear from you!
After a 6 week test streak (yes, it was as horrible as it sounds), I’m finally feeling a little less stressed. This semester has challenged me mentally, physically, and emotionally, and while I still love the career path that I’ve chosen, I couldn’t be happier that there are only 4 weeks left.
But enough about school! I can’t believe next week is already Thanksgiving–I’m having my bestie from California over for the 2nd annual Thanksgiving pizza party. Since neither of us can fly home for the short holiday break, it’s nice to have someone to hang out with (read: someone I force to watch “Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s” reruns with me while stuffing our faces with homemade pizza). It should be a good holiday! What are your Thanksgiving plans?
Here’s what I’ve been up to lately:
September has just flown by–so quick that I haven’t even had time to share my monthly “Currently I’m..” post! Since it’s almost October, I’m sharing this month’s series for both September and October. This week was the first week of fall, and I’m excited to welcome in my second-favorite season of the year. Hope you’re having a great weekend!
